Coom Wedge Tomb is situated just of the scenic road Skellig Ring, about 3 km east of Ballinskelligs, on Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry. It dates from the time between the late Stone Age and the early Bronze Age. Excavations were carried out in 1965-66 and only a short flint flake was found under the remains of the cairn. No traces of burials or grave goods were found during excavations. It's about 5m long and 1,5 m wide. The main chamber is about 3m long and is covered by single roofstone. The portico (antechamber) has three stones on each side.
